Selected Performance History


February 16 & 17, 2016: Cape Fear Community College Humanities & Fine Arts Center; as part of community outreach, Gaspard Louis also taught a series of workshops arranged by the CFCC, presenteor in Wilmington, North Carolina 


January 18, 2016:  Gaspard&Dancers showcased  Souke (Shake),  the core piece of the earthquake Trilogy at City Center APAP—arranged by Pam Green


September 2015: Gaspard&Dancers 2015 Performances held at Reynolds Theater, Duke University. We premiered the work Tota Pulchra Es (You are All Beautiful) with live music by Mallarme Chamber Players. The following week we had our New York premiere and were presented by Pace Performances.


October 2014-January 2015: NC Dance Festival Touring Artist with performances in Boone, Greensboro, and Charlotte


September 2014: Gaspard&Dancers 2014 Performances held at Reynolds Theater, Duke University.  We premiered the work L'Esprit(The Spirit).  Gaspard created a new work for 19 kids who were a part of ADF's Community Outreach Program.


October 2013:
Gaspard&Dancers 2013 Performances held at Reynolds Theater, Duke University. We premiered the group work Annatations with score composed and performed live by Joshua Starmer and the trio, Rubix with music by Paul Leary.


April 2013: Performance of SOUKE at SwitchPoint Ideas Conference, Haw River Ballroom; Saxapahaw, NC.


September 2012 - February 2013: NC Dance Festival Touring Artist.


March 2012: Gaspard&Dancers 2012 performances; we premiered SOUKE at Reynolds Industries Theater, Duke University.


January 2011: Gaspard&Dancers 2011 concert, a benefit performance for Haiti/St. Joseph's Home for Boys. Reynolds Industries Theater, Duke University.


November 2010 - February 2011: NC Dance Festival 25th Anniversary Tour 


June 2010: Dance Seen, First Fridays @ Arts Together, hosted by Even Exchange Dance Theater.


April 2010: Site-specific performance at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival opening. American Tobacco Campus, Durham.


February 2010: Benefit performance for Haiti relief, sponsored by the Duke University School of Divinity.


December 2009: Gaspard&Dancers debut evening-length performance. Reynolds Industries Theater, Duke University.


October 2009: "In Our Own Backyard" concert, hosted by Even Exchange Dance Theater @ Arts Together.
